|Name:||Port Kembla Footpath Construction|
|Commencement:||9th March 2018|
The footpath construction at Port Kembla is part of the larger NIF Enabling Works which involves critical upgrades to many Sydney Train stabling yards around NSW, namely the Central Coast, Newcastle & South Coast Illawarra Lines. Stabling yards are where trains terminate or stop overnight, and therefore critical infrastructure such as footpaths, combined service routes and lighting is required at these yards to allow safe passage for train drivers to exit the stabling yards and make their way to the station itself. 600m of footpath, lighting and minor service routes were installed over the 10 possessions.
