Project Description

The construction of an access road off Burns Bay Road with a combined steel girder bridge and community center beneath situated on Sydney North Shore. Critical project elements: Bulk excavation for bridge structure and supply and compaction of 9000m3 of material to raise site to design levels. Supply and installation of structural steel beams (1000WB296 Longitudinal Beams), associated concrete wing walls, columns, bridge deck and approach slabs, waterproofing of bridge deck, drainage works including 100m of 600mm RCP, 150m of 375mm RCP, subsoils, pits, etc as well as associated street lighting, and w beam safety barriers. asphalting of road and final wearing course.
