mortdale maitenance centre upgrade for Transport for Tomorrrow

As part of the TfNSW More Trains More Services program, TALIS Civil has been engaged by Transport for Tomorrow Alliance for a civil works package associated with the Mortdale Maintenance Centre Upgrade. Works include construction of a large and complex in-ground concrete structure for the new bogie exchange system, as well as associated in ground utilities – stormwater, mechanical and electrical services. Plus construction of a new retaining wall and access road, a new substation and car park. The project is aimed at reducing train maintenance time, thus freeing up more passenger trains for rail services

TALIS Civil has been awarded the Peats Ferry Road Stage 2 upgrade in Asquith NSW for Hornsby Shire council. Peats Ferry Road traffics over 19,000 vehicles a day, presenting a significant traffic management challenge which TALIS will manage with our proven experience and excellence. The works involve a major road reconstruction with a new landscape design including 2300m2 of footpath construction , major landscaping works, water main relocation works and road pavement reconstruction. The scope of works also include the design and construction of a unique FRP boardwalk to preserve the beautiful fig trees. TALIS is expected to have site possession at the start of May.

Noise Wall installation at James Ruse Drive for DM Roads

New work for DM Roads on James Ruse Drive. TALIS Civil are constructing 200 Metres of sound walls- noise reduction barriers on this busy arterial at North Parramatta.
Warrawee Station Upgrade

TALIS have completed another successful weekend rail possession for Haslin Constructions which required the demolition of the entire 1300m2 existing platform asphalt and concrete surface, trimming and regrading of the existing subgrade, and placement of new asphalt for the platform surface to newly regraded levels to comply with current Australian standards and improve accessibility and safety for station users.
Shellcove Installation of temporary works is well underway

Shellcove Marina is progressing well with the temporary works including scaffolding and falsework on track for the two travel lift runway beams to be cast in situ. Stage 2 will include construction of the heavy duty platform.
Glendonbrook works commence

Works have commenced on the reconstruction of a 2km stretch of road at Glendonbrook on the outskirts of Singleton. Stage one is progressing well and nearing completion.
Bathurst Round-a-bout are well underway

Works at the Lambert/Suttor & Mitre Streets round-a-bout are well under way and on schedule. Phase 1 asphalt placement has been completed and a traffic switch on 20th May will signify a significant milestone in the program. Community consultation has been very positive.
Shell Cove Precast concrete units

TALIS Civil have commenced the works for The Waterfront at Shell Cove Development with the in-house construction of precast concrete units. TALIS was awarded the project by Frasers Properties & Shell Cove Council for the Heavy Duty Platform and Travel Lift Runways.

A significant project in the Hills District has been awarded to TALIS Civil. The pedestrian bridge spanning 50m over Memorial Avenue at Kellyville was awarded to TALIS by The Hills Shire Council last week and will begin in earnest in January.
